US!!!
Sooo, Eura and I have been COMPLETELY immersed in school and work this semester, so my dearest apologies goes out to our wonderful subscribers. So here is a photo we took together that I fell in LOVE with. Mind as well mix school with blogging since we obviously cant focus on both separately at the same time! Photo taken by: Cree Smith

OKAY ENOUGH
I'm over this whole little thing called Minamlisim... Umm I like it when Calvin Klein and Jil sander do it...but only when everyone else is doing over the top things.. mean even The Blonds did minimalism. Yes, the collection was over the top but for them This
Is Minimalism.....Oh well

So this is NYFW...Spring 2011 part two
A few more of my favorite collections so far...I always enjoy the Spring collections way more than than I do the Fall collections and so far I'm seeing that I'm going to love the color blocking, pattern mixing, touches of neutrals, white, and cut-out silhouettes. The collections Below are my best examples of what I adore so far.
Peter Som
Peter Som did a lot of pattern mixing with touches of neutrals and solid colors.
I am really loving his FLORAL prints too.
Jason Wu
First I love that fact that, Joan Smalls, an African-American Model opened. Now away from Politics and onto FASHION. The collection was full of neutrals like khaki, navy, and black and I enjoyed those pieces Especially picture three..The lace oxford shirt with the anorak..I need that in my OWN closet.. But the color is what gets me every time.
Prabal Gurung
Color Blocking!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is all. Okay maybe that isn't all there were Neutrals and Ruffles involved too but I loved it for the color blocking.
OHHH and white I really like the white pieces.
Altuzarra
Joseph Altuzarra's collection was all about the navy and snakeskin for me.... And then I noticed all of the interesting cut-outs and really fell in love...
P.S. I'm still digesting Alexander Wang.....Give me a week I'll get back to you.

So this is NYFW....Spring 2011
I love this time of the year it's like Christmas except better....So far my favorite Collections are Christian Siriano and Bensoni. I'm going to talk about why I loved Bensoni.... we'll get to Siriano later...
The spring 2011 collection felt like it was inspired by the Flower Child moment in the seventies. I hate this whole minimalism thing that fashion is going through right now So I was excited to see that the simple silhoettes that Benjamin Channing Clyburn and Sonia Yoon sent down the runway were loaded with multiple patterns and the collection was rounded and softened with white draping... I'm now looking for video I want to see these pants in motion..because I thought it was a freaking skirt...

Oh YEA
So I'm way behind because this news is soooooo last week but Taylor Momson is going to be the face of John Galliano's next fragrance. Some fashion snobs don't approve because of TayMom's personal sartorial choices but I think that what Taylor wears fits in with what John Galliano designs...besides I love Jenny Humphrey...LOL I can't wait to see this..
